Sage 100 Is Set For April 27, 2023 Release
According to Sage KB 119030 the next update release for 2022 – product update 3 – is due April 27, 2023.
Since most updates are released on the same day, it’s likely that April 27, 2023 will be the release day for Sage 100 2023.

Upon release, versions Sage 100 2023.x, 2022.x and 2021.x will be supported by Sage under their N-2 support policy.
Payroll User Must Be on Sage 100 2020+ By December 2023 To Install Update Payroll
Payroll users should be on the lookout for an email from Sage advising that by December 2023 all Payroll users must be on Sage 100 2020 or higher in order to update to the latest Payroll 2.24 (due 12/2023) which will be required for tax filings or program changes.
If you’re not on Sage 100 2020+ and you use Payroll you won’t be able to install year-end payroll updates during December 2023 and therefore you won’t have access to tax form printing (W-2 / 1099 ) or eFiling.
It appears this would also apply to users who file form 1099s as electronic filing or printing within Sage 100 is performed by the same third party Aatrix integration.
Hopefully, this impacts very few users. Sage indicates they will support the most current payroll release and three prior versions (N-3) while they will support the current Sage 100 and two prior versions ( N-2 ).
