It’s a different world since our last News Line.
In the beginning of March I attended the Sage X3 Partner Summit in Orlando.
It was deemed a ‘no handshake’ event. ‘Social distancing’ and ‘flattening the curve’ were unknown concepts. Plane flights were full with one or two people wearing masks.

Sage Software conducted its first Sage X3 user conference last month. In addition to launching the change, back to the name “Sage X3” from “Sage Enterprise Management”, the two days were filled with content specific to the Sage X3 product.
Customers and prospects were also able to meet with Sage executives and representatives from third-party enhancement providers.

Back from Dubai
Sage recently held its annual Enterprise Management (X3) reseller conference in Dubai.
In addition to having an opportunity to meet with Sage executives and partners from around the globe, resellers were able to learn about the future directions of the system. Resellers were also able to give feedback to Sage regarding what we see as future needs for the system as relayed to us by the users. We also had camel rides.

Off to Dubai
Next week Sage will be holding the annual week-long Enterprise Management (X3) reseller conference in Dubai. WAC will be sending a representative to attend sessions on new developments in the EM world.

Sage Summit – San Diego
This year, Sage decided to have two Summits, the first of which was in San Diego earlier this month and the second will be in Atlanta in May. The event was similar to the approach taken last year, to have a number of one day events around the world rather than one big week-long conference with high priced speakers. Consolidating the event into two days and being more geographically accessible allowed sessions to go into greater depth than the one-day events.
